Relationships that heal

billing

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Medical billing is a complicated discipline. While we do our best to offer full transparency when it comes to cost, some situations render unforeseeable circumstances. Especially when utilizing insurance, not every answer we get from your insurance provider is clear or consistent. When in doubt, we err on the side of overestimating the cost of service to help protect you from surprise expenses that may fall outside of your budget. Best case, when something changes in the cost of service, we offer you a credit or refund your money rather than asking you for more.

If you have questions about your bill, please reach out to us and we’ll do our best to help!

FAQ

What insurances are we able to accept at this time?

We are able to accept Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross, Optum, and Oscar, as well as a handful of other subsidiary providers.

About how much can I expect to pay for counseling without using insurance?

If you wish to pay privately, the typical cost of counseling is around $100 per session, though that cost varies based on the therapist.

Are we able to accept Medicaid, Medicare, or any of Medicaid/Medicare’s alternate brand names?
(i.e. Sunshine Health, Wellcare, Florida Healthy Kids, etc.)

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Medicaid, Medicare, or any of their alternatively branded providers.

What if the insurance I provide is not my primary insurance? Can we use a secondary insurance?

The short answer is “no.” Please only provide your primary insurance. If you are unsure or suspect the insurance you provide to us isn’t your primary insurance plan, please verify with your provider. Attempting to use a secondary or tertiary plan will likely result in difficulties when processing your claim and you may be responsible for the cost of services rendered.

Are we able to accept EAP’s or Employee Assistance Programs?

We are unable to accept EAP’s at this time.
