Carly Smith
Carly is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology before receiving her Master of Social Work degree from UCF.
Carly is passionate about working with children and teens as they navigate the challenges of growing up. She strives to offer a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where young clients feel safe to express themselves, build confidence, and develop coping skills. She works with clients to understand their strengths, challenges, and goals as they navigate difficulties such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and other stressors.
Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and individualized to each client’s unique needs. She utilizes a combination of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MATCH-ADTC, and psychoeducation to help children and teens better understand and manage their emotions and behaviors.
In her free time, Carly enjoys reading, going to the beach, playing with her dog, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends!
