Christine Young

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH29034)

Christine Young

A storyteller at heart, Christine is passionate about helping others narrate and navigate the most challenging chapters of their lives. As a counselor intern, her focus is on collaboration and creating a safe space for clients to explore and express themselves without judgement.

Christine believes that counseling, in its best form, allows us the essential safety, space, and time to reflect on the impact of our unique experiences and decide what steps to take forward for ourselves. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients through life transitions, grief, relationships, identity development, LGBTQ+ experiences, anxiety, and depression.

Christine was drawn to counseling after more than a decade working in communications, guided by a curiosity for the nuances of life and connection. She earned her Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Flagler College.

Outside of clinical work, Christine enjoys reading, arts and crafts, long walks, and getting up to good fun with loved ones.
