Davey’s framework for therapy is rooted in her deeply-held belief that each person’s thoughts, feelings, experiences and identities matter tremendously. Her goal is to collaboratively create a space where her clients feel safe to share their authentic selves. She has experience working with clients on a variety of issues including identity development, adjustment concerns, grief, loss, stress and anxiety management, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. Davey’s belief that each person brings something unique to the table informs her person-centered approach to therapy and she incorporates various theories and techniques individualized to best meet the needs of each client she works with. She is particularly passionate about utilizing expressive arts techniques and mindfulness practice in therapy when appropriate.
Davey loves being outdoors and exploring new places, especially with her Boston Terrier pup, Bo. One of her favorite things is laughter and meaningful conversation with close friends or family over good food!
