Déja Jackson

Déja obtained a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Central Florida before obtaining a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. 

Throughout Déja's time in the mental health field, she has worked with teens and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, low self esteem, and identity issues. Deja believes in connecting the mind, body, and soul using different techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Mindfulness can be a powerful tool for managing stress, reducing anxiety, and increasing resilience in the face of adversity. Deja empowers individuals to cultivate awareness and emotional regulation, leading to lasting positive change.

Deja has experience working in the child welfare system in investigations and forensic interviewing as well as directly working with victims of sexual assault. Déja has a passion for advocating for those who have endured various traumas and helping them reach their therapeutic goals. 

In her free time, Déja enjoys traveling and participating in the performing arts.
