Hannah Miller
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Hannah was drawn to college in Florida for the warmer, sunnier weather. She double majored in Psychology and Communication at Stetson University and stayed in Central Florida to get her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College.
Hannah has worked at a residential facility leading groups on cognitive behavioral therapy, coping skills, communication skills, anger management, stress management, trauma, goal-setting, and more. She has worked with college students, received special training on working with victims and survivors of abuse, and is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Hannah uses a person-centered approach, seeking to support and empathize with clients as we both gain awareness and process clients’ experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Her goal is to understand clients’ as holistically as possible to adapt therapy sessions to each individual’s needs and preferences.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys going to theme parks and beaches, traveling, visiting with friends and family, and staying in to watch television with her cat.
