Sharon Rosenfeld
Sharon Rosenfeld is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. Sharon’s career has included positions within and outside the scope of social work, with a focus on helping people achieve their goals. She has worked with children involved in the juvenile justice system, those with special needs, children in hospitals, and minors living in group homes. Sharon worked in schools creating peaceful and behaviorally beneficial classrooms while assisting parents whose children needed additional services. Sharon has also worked with families desiring to adopt children in the child welfare system.
Sharon enjoys engaging with clients of all ages, from young children to older adults, and is passionate about helping children and families as they navigate through life’s experiences. Sharon’s areas of focus include self-esteem, adjustment issues, peer pressure, depression, anxiety, relational struggles, life–transitions, and grief. Throughout Sharon’s diverse experiences, she has maintained a client-centered approach, focusing on strengths, and creating a safe space in order to build a strong rapport. Based on the clients’ needs, Sharon utilizes Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered approaches.
Outside the office, Sharon has loved being a mom to her two college-aged children and now enjoys watching them embark on their own journey. In her free time, Sharon likes traveling, music, college football, and watching shows at home with her husband.
