Dr. Shayna Forgetta

Dr. Shay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. Her professional experience spans clinical practice, research, and higher education, providing her with a unique perspective on the complex ways personal experiences, relationships, and social systems influence well-being.

Dr. Shay works with adults navigating relationship concerns, sexuality, identity exploration, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, and issues related to intimacy and connection. She is LGBTQIA+ supportive, sex-positive, and kink-affirming, and is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences without shame or judgment. Dr. Shay is currently pursuing advanced training in sex therapy and focuses on supporting healthy relationships, authentic self-expression, and overall emotional well-being.

Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. She helps clients deepen self-understanding, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been overlooked or silenced.

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her husband and loved ones, trying new restaurants, and visiting the theme parks.
