Trina Finelli
Trina is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and proud UCF graduate. Trina provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She specializes primarily in LGBTQ+ issues, OCD, sexual concerns in adults, medical issues/disabilities, and relationship challenges.
Trina has gained professional experience in community agency settings, working with all ages and a variety of therapeutic concerns. Aside from her specialties, she has experience with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relapse prevention for addiction, ADHD, PTSD, first responders, parenting concerns, geriatric patients, and working with adults on the Autism spectrum. With gathered experience and trainings in clinical interventions, Trina has developed a client-centered approach that combines authentic human connection with professional support.
Trina puts emphasis on creating safety and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Utilizing formal skills and culturally sensitive approaches, she tailors sessions to the individual and their unique needs. She prioritizes meeting each person where they are and providing effective strategies to help them feel empowered.
