Diandra Medina

Diandra is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in Psychology before receiving her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Diandra has a passion for helping women and teen girls experiencing anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship/family conflict, people-pleasing, and life transitions. She has experience working with children/adolescents, families, and individuals in private practice and community mental health centers.

Diandra’s style of therapy is all about compassion and curiosity. She genuinely wants to get to know you! She recognizes that the therapeutic relationship can have a transformative impact on her clients ability to change.

Diandra takes an integrative-based approach to therapy, understanding that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach, allowing her to meet her clients where they are. Diandra utilizes tools from theories such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to develop healthier coping skills, recognize pushed-down/unresolved feelings, and strengthen their self-awareness.

Outside of therapy, Diandra loves spending time with her family and dogs, reading romcoms, traveling, watching baking TV shows, and gardening.
