Lauren Mangrum

Lauren Mangrum graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lauren has had a passion for the field of Mental Health since high school and completed an internship with the Florida Assertive Community Treatment Team (FACT Team) during her undergraduate career at Florida State.

Lauren is experienced in outpatient community mental health settings, working with a variety of mental health concerns including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma.

Lauren believes in using an integrated approach, as every client is different, and it is important to meet clients where they are at. Lauren’s primary approaches to counseling are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Lauren believes that each client is an expert on themselves and her goal as a counselor is assisting clients in reaching their full potential while giving clients a safe space so they may engage in self-discovery, growth, and developing effective coping skills. 

Outside of work, Lauren also enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of Lauren’s favorite hobbies is baking and sharing her creations with her loved ones.
