Marie Oyler (she/her) is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Central Florida. Marie has experience working in community and private mental health outpatient settings, as well as ten years working in secondary and post-secondary educational settings. She has worked with a wide range of age groups, specializing in issues related to anxiety and stress management, depression, life transitions/adjustment issues, perinatal and maternal mental health, ADHD, self-esteem, self-exploration, and personal growth.

Rooted in person-centered and strengths-based perspectives, Marie utilizes a blend of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic therapies to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Marie utilizes evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, psychoeducation, and skills training to help clients meet their goals. Marie’s goal is to create a safe and nurturing space for clients to sift through the layers of their experiences, uncovering ways to cultivate balance and authenticity that align with their authentic selves.

Outside of the counseling world, Marie’s main roles are as a wife and mom/chaos coordinator to two toddlers. She enjoys traveling, especially to the mountains or any place that doesn’t look like Florida. She also loves exploring fun coffee shops and trendy restaurants. Humor and laughter are essentials in her life, as well as interactions with others, sunshine, and plenty of sleep. Throughout it all, she is on a constant mission to increase her own self-awareness, self-love, and balance.
