Daniela Marcano

Daniela Marcano is a dedicated registered mental health counseling intern with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and the Hispanic community. Originally from Venezuela and now living in Orlando for nearly a decade, she deeply understands the challenges of adapting to a new culture and environment, especially when seeking mental health support while navigating language barriers. Her goal is to create a compassionate, safe space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported throughout their journey. She takes an individualized approach to therapy, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Daniela focuses on creating an environment of hope, healing, and lasting change, adapting techniques to best suit each client's unique needs. She remains open to exploring new therapeutic techniques that clients may want to incorporate into their sessions.

Daniela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with advanced studies in Play Therapy from Stetson University. She believes that each individual is the expert on their own life, and she meets clients where they are, creating an inclusive, multicultural space where they can share their stories without fear or judgment. By using a strength-based approach and mindfulness techniques such as meditation and breath work, she helps clients stay grounded and empowers them to discover the tools within themselves to navigate life.

Daniela is passionate about walking alongside her clients as they pursue their goals, overcome challenges, and celebrate their personal growth. Her top priority is ensuring that each client feels understood, valued, and supported every step of the way. When not counseling, she enjoys playing video games and spending time with her loved ones. She believes in taking a "breath of mind" to focus on herself when needed, finding peace in the simple pleasures of life.
